Dental Implants are quite complicated in nature.
Dental Implants are not very common and are required when a not only a tooth needs to be replaced but its roots as well. Healthy gums are a prerequisite for
dental implants procedure, as well as having enough bone in the jaw to support the implant(s).
There is a simple process involved in getting a
dental implants:
- A small metal post is implanted into your jawbone
- The post bonds with the bone around it
- The post (implant) is the anchor that holds the false teeth in their place
While the
dental implants procedure can be quite costly and requires several visits to your
implant dentists, the final product closely resembles natural teeth and is embedded into the jawbone. Once again, they are not as strong as real teeth and must be cared for very carefully.
